Nanoflex Robotics is advancing its mission to revolutionize remote robotic surgery by integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its magnetic navigation system. In collaboration with Brainomix, a UK-based AI-powered medtech solutions company.
The project has received significant support, including a CHF 400,000 grant from Innosuisse, Switzerland’s Innovation Agency, and £400,000 from Innovate UK, the United Kingdom's innovation agency.
Nanoflex Robotics is actively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its mission to revolutionize remote robotic surgery. The goal is to create an AI-assisted navigation feature for interventional devices, improving their movement through the vascular network.
Magnetic Navigation
Our telerobotic system employs magnetic fields to guide ultra-flexible micro robots through intricate blood vessels, ensuring precise navigation without excessive force.
Our magnetic field unit is compact and mobile.
Ultra-flexible Devices
With a simple console, physicians control the device tip, bending and orienting it in any direction. This allows them to make instant acute turns in the vasculature, potentially enabling faster, simpler, and safer endovascular interventions.
We are building next-generation telerobotic solutions to enhance access to life-saving procedures.
Our magnetic technology and ultra-flexible robotic devices empower physicians, and seeks to enable faster, safer and more precise interventions.
A medtech spin-off from ETH Zurich
Founded in 2021, Nanoflex Robotics was spun out of a leading research university in Switzerland, ETH Zurich. Today, we are a medical device company specializing in the development of telerobotic solutions to treat endovascular diseases.
