I took this photo today of a detainee at Delaney Hall being carried out on a stretcher and into an ambulance. This was after reports of guards beating and teargassing detainees on hunger strike.
The level of cruelty is unimaginable. We need to shut this place down.

Today, I was at Delaney Hall to be in solidarity with the detainees on hunger strike, their families, and the advocates fighting tirelessly for their safe release.
ICE's conduct is a moral failure, and silence is complicity. Delaney Hall must be shut down. ICE must be abolished. Not eventually, now.

When I was with @NJWFP, we began the lawsuit to abolish the County Line because it guarded the power of corrupt party bosses and their corporate donors for too long.
