I met 2 really nice Ukrainian lads at Xmas. Living it up in a luxurious hotel free of charge. They didn't flee any war. They were in the UK the last 5 years and in a precarious visa situation. One of them was telling me he is going back to college because it's free and this is his opportunity to get a college education free of charge and still have enough money with his €880 monthly social welfare payment to live.
