The project operates across the entire island of Madagascar, including, more recently, the Sava Region in the north of Madagascar, a global hub for vanilla cultivation.
Thanks to supporters, the #WasteToFuelUganda project will prevent an estimated ~650,000 tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere over the next 10 years. This is equivalent to the consumption of over 73 million gallons of gasoline.
The #WasteToFuel project in Uganda delivers multi-faceted benefits to the farmers and their families: improved indoor air quality, increased time and cost savings, advancement of SDGs 3, 5, 7, 8, 13, reduction in agrochemical pollution, and more.

We love biodigesters! These simple systems capture methane from organic waste that would otherwise enter the atmosphere and produce sustainable biogas for smallholder farmers’ homes. They also generate organic fertilizer! 🌿

Together, the #cleanwater projects operating over 10-year periods are offsetting more than 360,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Delivering filters to over 9000 families and communities, providing 995 million liters of drinking water.
