Am I the only person who has absolutely no interest in ever watching even 2 minutes of β€˜Traitors’ and can’t stand the constant pushing of it?

Yep. It's only 7.15pm and our dog is already a nervous wreck thanks to some prat letting blasting fireworks off in the street outside. Been dreading tonight all day. I used to like NYE years ago. It's no fun anymore.
If you’re planning on setting off fireworks tonight just remember all your neighbours will know you couldn’t give a toss about animals.

Just been looking on here to see if Evri the crap courier is on here. Unsurprisingly they're not. Imagine the abuse they'd get if they were. They are an utter joke of a company definitely not fit for purpose.

He shouldn't talk about himself this way, putting himself down. Obviously doesn't think much of himself any more than he thinks about anyone else.

For what it's worth and all the use it will be I feel a VERY strongly worded email coming on to my #Labour MP because I have sooooo had ENOUGH of other people's 'fun' intruding in my life every effing NIGHT. #Fireworks SICK of them!!!

45 minutes solid so far tonight. Our dog has barked for 45 minutes and is now beside himself. We'll have a repeat next weekend and then all over again come New Year. 🀬
Good to join @petercardwell on @TalkTV on why we need to see tighter controls on the sale of fireworks to protect animals & people @RSPCA_official @fireworkreform

Today AWS servers went down and so did the government One Login digital ID system Millions of people were suddenly locked out of vital services just because all authentication now runs through one central system hosted on a single commercial cloud. Could there be a clearer warning This is not a theoretical risk. This is what happens when all access to government services depends on a single provider and a single platform. One outage and the whole country grinds to a halt If AWS can crash and take out government logins nationwide. What happens during a cyberattack? What happens in a crisis? What happens when there is just a technical glitch? We are being told to put our trust our business our legal status and our most sensitive personal information into one digital basket Today proves just how fragile and risky that model is. Digital ID is not about convenience or security. It is about centralising risk and making everyone more vulnerable to outages attacks and bureaucratic mistakes. It only takes one outage to lock the country out. #NoToDigitalID

This is how you privatise a country The playbook is simple: keep the public fighting about borders and boats while corporations dismantle the state from within. Outsource governance to Silicon Valley surveillance firms. Hand infrastructure to Wall Street. Create zones where capital operates beyond democratic control. By the time people notice, it’s already done. europeanpowell.substack.com/…

Battersea Park Children’s Zoo have commented on our campaign to have Battersea Park #fireworks moved away from the animals in the zoo and the nearby dogs & cats home or cancelled completely. The post makes horrendous reading and if it doesn’t make you want to drop an email to hello@wandsworth.gov.uk we don’t know what will! @CllrSimonHogg do you care to comment? Your continued use of the park for firework displays disregarding animal welfare is completely unacceptable. @RSPCA_official @MayorofLondon @EmmaforWycombe @domdyer70 @wandbc

I've moved my blog from WP to blogger. Does anyone know why, when I post a link to a review on Blogspot, it doesn't post a picture with the link. That's a bit rubbish isn't it. πŸ™„ Fed up of blogging, nothing works properly any more.

This book sat on my to be read pile for about two year or more. It's a very emotional and tender story. Better late than never because I loved it. The Silent Treatment by @AbbieGreaves1 abooknbrew.blogspot.com/2025…
