Noticed this the other day: an aging plaque in the ground of a @citybloomington park, dedicating a tree that lived to be very old (and had to be chopped down).
Really heavy stuff. #nature#update
We got some dark storm clouds rolling in, along with some thunder and warm breezes, at dusk here in #PerryTownship. The strongest storms are rolling in through south of town. Be safe!
Tuesday's #Bloomington weather forecast:
High of 81. Scattered rainstorms expected through the 2 p.m. We're also under a Flash Flood Watch from the NWS during that time, so keep an eye out across town and SW-Central Indiana today!
Skies should clear up by this evening.
Tonight in #PerryTownship, the crickets are chirping about 120 times a minute, which means it's ~67 degrees outside.
That's the same BPM tempo as AC/DC's "Highway to Hell."
First walnuts of the year are falling here in #PerryTownship. They're grape-sized now, but their latter counterparts will be closer to a Clementine in size. They have that trademark walnut smell, though!
SPOTTED: Mother deer grabbing a snack on the 850 block of South Lincoln. Approx 6:20 p.m., 80 degrees. Not overbearingly hot, but a good time for shade! #PerryTownshipNature
