Sad to be missing FMEC due to COVID. I was looking forward to presenting Health Equity Rounds tomorrow, see former colleagues, and connect with applicants. However, grateful for the opportunity to rest and I know @MontefioreDFSM colleagues are holding it down.

In medicine some days are either a) draining and make you question your life choices. b) rewarding and you feel you’re living your purpose. c) challenging, yet you’re reminded of exactly why you became a doctor. Thanking God for the blessings that come in the midst of the storm.

Just landed #AAFPNC! Taking off afforded me gorgeous arial views of The Bronx. My hometown and the community that @MontefioreDFSM has been serving for over 40 years (you can see the hospital if you squint). Proud family doctor and Bronxite.

A fantastic Health Equity Rounds by residents and faculty @MonteDFSM on "Discharge Planning for Patients with Insecure Housing". Learned about structural causes of insecure housing, shelter packets and letters of accommodation. @ErinGossMD @roshnebh @Ichoosetospeak @Nborrero

George Floyd should not have died under an officer’s knee — he should still be alive today. So should Daunte Wright, Philando Castile, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black people killed by police.

As you honor my father today, please honor my mother, as well. She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of @TheKingCenter, which she founded less than three months after Daddy died. Without #CorettaScottKing, there would be no #MLKDay. #MLK  #BelovedCommunity

OK. Can we get back to discussing the role of race in America? Trump is utilizing textbook white supremacists tactics to deflect. #LatinoGreeksforBidenHarris #Debates2020
