Nah this is messed up tbh. Two of those teams have no assets, the other barely does.
If you request a trade you should lose your trade protection, straight up.
Trying to force the team you chose to sign long term with into a terrible trade is just not it.
Helene reports that Dylan Larkin gave #LGRW three teams where he'd accept a trade and believes those teams are: #FlaPanthers, #mnwild and #VGK.

With the report of McDavid having Montreal on his short list of teams he’d like to land on if it doesn’t work out in EDM, I’d like to reiterate the following…

The money to sign him or take him in✅
Strong management ✅
Big hockey market ✅
Assets to trade him ✅
And most important of all is the player’s interest in joining said franchise and it also appears to be there. Not going to get my hopes up yet, but this is a real, legit possibility at some point in the next two years.
