Les cyclistes du parcours Londres-Paris arrivent au cœur de Paris, au pied de l’emblématique Tour Eiffel ! 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷 Après quatre jours, plus de 200 km à vélo et une chaleur estivale qui les a accompagnés tout au long du parcours, ils ont enfin atteint la capitale française. Il ne leur reste plus qu’une dernière étape à parcourir pour rejoindre le @BAPS Mandir Swaminarayan Hindou de Paris, à Bussy-Saint-Georges. __ The London to Paris cyclists arrive in the heart of Paris at the iconic Eiffel Tower! 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷 After 4 days, more than 200km of cycling, and enduring the summer heat along the way, they’ve finally reached the French capital. One final stretch remains as they make their way to @BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir, Paris, in Bussy-Saint-Georges.

A sacred beginning, shared by thousands. Yesterday at #NeasdenTemple, devotees gathered for the first shila pujan of Tapomurti Nilkanth Varni Maharaj - a deeply sacred ceremony celebrating the foundation-laying of this momentous project. Nilkanth Varni, the teenage form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, represents love, compassion, unwavering faith, and spiritual resolve. The Tapomurti - a serene standing murti that will rise 42 feet - will embody these divine virtues, serving as a place of reverence and reflection. It will inspire generations to come to lead lives rooted in spirituality, inner strength, and service to others. His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj had sanctified the bricks for this ceremony in India a few days earlier, blessing the beginning of this devotional endeavour. As the first bricks were placed in the foundation pit, it marked more than the start of construction; it was the commencement of a collective offering of faith, unity, and devotion.

On the UN International Day of Conscience, we are reminded by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj that peace begins within. As we step into the Mandir, the noise of the outside world fades – and serene divinity fills us with stillness, reflection, tranquillity. No matter how chaotic life feels, there is always a space within us all where calm resides.

Today, we celebrate the divine birth anniversary of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. In honour of this auspicious occasion, the women’s wing, along with the children and youth of BAPS Neasden Temple, offered a heartfelt devotional programme that delved into the lives of exemplary women devotees from his time. Their unwavering faith serves as a blueprint for our own spiritual journey, showing us how to embody that same profound devotion in a contemporary world. This offering was a true labour of love, involving more than 230 female performers and volunteers of various ages.
