Digging straight into 200g of pork loin for lunch today. This has 50 grams of protein. On a side note, I had about 3 hours of sleep last night and when I'm this tired all discipline goes out the window. So, I bought a bag of chips. I started eating them and kept thinking "I've tasted this before," but I couldn't put my finger on it. After a few more, it was like "oh yeah, these taste exactly like hot wings covered with ranch dressing." Half a bag later.

Open AI is subpoenaed by 42 States! A week earlier they began filing for a $1T dollar IPO. Amongst the accusations are concerns over ChatGPT's Sycophancy (tendency to tell people what they want to hear and not what is right or true!)

Let's take a minute this Sunday to acknowledge some living legends This is Ian Matthias Bavitz aka Aesop Rock. I don't know anything about him personally, but professionally he is a lyrical genius! And this is not a one off either! From his first album "Music for Earthworms" in 1997 through to his 10th album "Integrated Tech Solutions" in 2023 this guy has been doing it, and doing it well for decades! I think his "The Impossible Kid" album released back in 2016 is my favourite though! Love him or hate him this man is truly a living legend! @AesopRockWins come do a show in Brandon, MB Feel free to follow suit and reply with someone you think is a living legend! Also, check this guy's music out and let me know what you think (FYI- he's a hip-hop artist - FYI)

Had a tree go down in a windstorm and it took out all the power lines. How long do you think it took the power company Manitoba Hydro to fix it?

Alright, this is going to be a long post but I just remembered a hilarious story! Back in 2009 a company called Shakespeare in The Ruins did a production of Othello in the Assiniboine Park Conservatory. My family and I attend one of the shows in June. I can't remember if the tickets were free or significantly reduced in price to something like $20, but I recall that it didn't cost much to attend. There was an audience of about 150 people. During the show, the lady in front of us continued to express her dissatisfaction with the play by overly dramatic sighs and hand tosses of exasperation. At one point she says, aloud to the company she is with "in moscow theater we have beautiful women." Alright, so that sets the scene. Finally in Act V Scene 1 where Rodrigo ambushes Cassio in a dark alleyway and the have a sword fight which the director of the play had the actress who was playing Desdemona standing in the background, I guess to drive home the point that they were fighting over her, this Russian woman can no longer hold her disdain and says out loud for the entire audience to hear "NO, NO, NO, They would not fight over the ugly ducking with cow hoofs for legs!" Everyone could hear it including the actress playing Desdemona who these comments were about! I'm sitting one row behind and two seats to the side of this woman and I am trying not to laugh my head off! After the play, my brother in law casually strikes up a conversation with this woman while we are waiting for our row to exit and he learns that she used to be a casting director or something for a production house in Moscow. We all laughed so hard once we got out of there! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮🤣🤣🤣 I don't know why I thought about that today, but it is a hilarious story!

Anyone remember back in August of 2018 when Elon Musk tweeted (they were called tweets back then) "$420 a share funding secured" in regards to taking Tesla Private? Now Space X is flagship company has gone public? So, for the above reason and the advice of others who I believe are better investors than me, I decided to sit the $SPCX IPO out. Despite my excitement, and the seemingly wise adage "never bet against Elon" I had to be honest with myself and admit that I was effectively gambling. I'm sure I'll end up owning some eventually, but time will tell. Thanks to those who advised me wether they know it or not, and a special thanks to @DrunkDividends tank for posting a quick break down of Space X's financials that revealed they were burning through cash at an alarming rate.

Walking into Brandon Manitoba's Shopper's Mall and some guy loitering around outside the building called out after me "four-eyes" - admittedly I chuckled a little bit. Then I walked into the food court and immediately could hear some women yelling, swearing, and threatening someone, and I thought to myself: there is a reason I never come here unless I have to.

Tell me what you think. My buddy from up the road is an older gentleman who has diabetes. This winter he broke two of his toes and just this past Monday the doctors decided that they weren't going to heal and needed to be cut off. So, I go and visit him in the hospital, and I take him a card that read: "Better to leave a couple of toes than be one foot in the grave" -with love, Ben I don't think he appreciated that much. Idk, I think it's funny 😆
