Before I perch for the night,
I wanted to share the meaning behind the name.
People often ask why it’s called @Necrowls.
Necro - inspired by ancient crypts, necropolises and things built to endure beyond time.
Owls - symbols of wisdom, mystery and the silent watchers of the night and perfect companions for Undeads.
Together, they became NecrOwls.
Not creatures of fear, but guardians of stories, art and the knowledge carried through generations.
From the beginning,
The Crypt was never built around temporary hype.
It was built on the belief that communities, stories and art should outlive trends and leave something meaningful behind.
That’s what NecrOwls means to me.
A place to gather.
A story to share.
Something built to endure.
Sleep well, Horde.

Let’s make the best of it.
For anyone new discovering @NecrOwls, I wanted to talk about something that’s been at the heart of this project from day one.
Community comes first.
Not as a slogan.
Not as a promise.
As an actual part of the collection.
Every holder matters to me, whether you own 1 Necrowl or 100. When building NecrOwls, I wanted to create something that didn’t just talk about rewarding its community, but was built to do exactly that.
Most projects say they’re giving back.
NecrOwls was designed so the community participates in the growth itself.
50% of all secondary royalties flow directly into the staking pool.
A portion of mint funds also goes there.
From there, rewards are distributed among stakers based on their share of the pool.
The easiest way to think about it is ownership.
The more of the staking pool you represent, the larger your share of the rewards becomes.
And when rewards are available?
They’re yours.
No waiting.
No unlock periods.
No claim windows.
No jumping through hoops.
Claim whenever you want.
What excites me most isn’t today’s numbers.
It’s what happens as the Crypt grows.
