Our students have been at @WNDSSP school competitions today, helping with officiating and coaching. Great to get them linking these skills to real life situations to enhance development.
We've been looking at what the letters and numbers mean on pencils and exploring the differences. We discovered that the higher numbers make harder lines and lower numbers make softer lines.
Today we looked at the mathematical symbols for less than, greater than and equal to. We used blocks to help prove that we'd selected the correct symbol.
Look at our lovely new display! Today we celebrated our differences. We agreed that what makes us so special is that we're all different and unique! We created these collages to show all of the different things we like. Aren't they gorgeous?
After school Forest Club starts back next Tuesday (9th) Places still available, years 3 and 4 can now join us. It's a great chance to experience our wonderful site and enjoy many adventures surrounded by nature. Call or email the office to sign up.
We had a brilliant launch to our enquiry today. 'Who is the king of the castle?' We started by learning about life as a peasant. We practised weaving in class and then had a go at making a fence by weaving too. It was tricky but we loved it!
