Despite official announcements that BMC will resurface entire road on Vakola Flyover after rains, there is no work on ground.
@mybmc needs to priortise this work.
Look at the smooth road after the flyover.

It's now official! 🔴
After nearly three years of blame game and bureaucratic process, it has been officially announced that BMC will resurface the Vakola, Aarey and Vikhroli flyover.
In a meeting chaired by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, it has been decided that BMC will resurface the Vakola and Aarey flyovers on the Western Express Highway, and the Vikhroli flyover on the Eastern Express Highway.
For nearly three years, BMC and MSRDC have been blaming each other for the repairs, leaving commuters to deal with cratered roads, traffic jams and daily hazards on two of Mumbai’s key arterial corridors.
The resurfacing is now officially assigned to BMC, bringing an end to the institutional blame game over basic road maintenance.
