A lot of people think body shaming and cyberbullying end when the post gets deleted, but being sued or getting a criminal record can affect job opportunities, university applications, and careers that require police clearance.
Not saying people can’t change or deserve a second chance, but it’s worth remembering that a few likes and laughs aren’t always worth risking your future over. Your digital footprint is real, and sometimes the consequences outlive the trend, surely he learnt something.
