As an Yank I'd absolutely prefer your stadium for a regular season match. Our big American football stadiums do kind of suck and are artificial. But they're perfect venues for the World Cup. This is what the soccer-only MLS stadium in my city looks like.

I don't mind chatting to those people, it is quite interesting to get the views of a more casual fan, but just admit you're not normally a football fan, why you trying to sound clever and end up sounding like a donut 😂

The Billikens also went to the big dance four times from 1994 to 2000, mostly under head coach Charles Spoonhour. But it was Eddie Hickey who brought SLU on some runs - to the Elite 8 in 1952 and the Sweet 16 in 1957. A little before that, the Billikens werr home to 2x Consensus AA Ed Macauley. The biggest thing going for Saint Louis is a sustained winning culture. They haven’t had more than three losing seasons in a row since the early 1980s. It is a program that always bounces back and is often a favorite in their conference to go dancing.
