None of the stranded Chinese tourists went back to homeland via airway after the last flight (CA438) operated by Air China on 18th Mar.

For chartered flight, Chinese embassy has to wait until they receive permission granted by the pandemic prevention and control team in China. And Nepal is rated as the least urgent level under the current procedure.

The suspension period of all domestic and international commercial flights has been extended till 15 May 2020 mid-night (23:59 NST). Special permission of CAAN is required for repatriation flights, rescue flights and flights related to medical and other essential supplies.
