The bus system is a major reason why I left the city and when I was looking for a place here, it had to be walkable/bikeable to work. Wasn't possible in Ottawa to find affordable housing anywhere near my job.
Congrats to our co-hosts Amber and @Joshbarbershop for their respective talks at @AALASnational this year! Great job representing all the aspects of working with aquatic animals in a research setting!

Zoo social media folks: please don't share photos of awake radiographs (X-rays) with your animals, where multiple staff are being exposed to radiation. It's a practice that needs to go away, especially for a "routine" non-emergency procedure.
π It's #ThrowbackThursday! Remember our visit to @neaq? From stunning marine exhibits to up-close encounters with ocean life, it was an unforgettable adventure! π¦π Relive the experience from episode 27! #AquariumAdventures#PodcastRewind

A propos of nothing, I want to say I've lived in #AuroraCO for nearly 5 years. I love it here, I can cycle to work or on a number of great trails. The fucking FOOD options in this city. Incredible. Also, there's pronghorn.
Happy fall, listeners! Time for PSL season! That's right: Proteins, Shrimp, and... Low density lipoproteins? Ok, never mind. In this week's episode we discuss nutrition for the laboratory fish! Join us on Friday! linktr.ee/gettingfishy
