Great to have our @DeSimoneLab Annual Retreat out on the San Francisco Bay! Always a good time!! And this year, they helped celebrate my 60th Birthday!! What a way to do it! And joining my team from @Stanford were our collaborators, Jillian Perry and Shaomin Tian who travelled in from @UNC!! Thank you team!

Huge congrats to Jason and @MaxSaccone from the @DeSimoneLab on this incredible work 🎉
We are very excited to share a new paper out of the lab, led by @StanfordUChem PhD student, Jason Kronenfeld, in @Nature ! This work introduces Roll-to-roll CLIP, a new technique for large scale, high resolution production of shape-specific particles! nature.com/articles/s41586-0…

In 2023, my work on 3D-printed micro-array patches in the @DeSimoneLab was featured in the "Vaccines without needles" exhibit at @OntScienceCtr ! Truly one of the highlights of my #phd thus far - I used to volunteer at the science center and it feels surreal to be in an exhibit!

Super excited about this new tool in our lab and the new horizons it opens up for us!
Excited to share the first microarray microneedle patches (MAPs) designed at @Stanford and printed on @Carbon’s first high resolution “S2 Printer” that was recently installed in the @DeSimoneLab! This printer has a projected Pixel Size of 5.4 microns and a Build Area of 15.3 mm x 9.5 mm, with a Build Height >100 mm! It runs all of Carbon’s advanced software found on the M3 (it’s built on the M3 chassis) and all of the Carbon and third party resins. Reliability and reproducibility, here we come…!

It was an amazing experience to share my work with 300 experts on microneedle delivery platforms in the "Innovative Formulations" session of the conference. Thank you all for the incredibly positive feedback on our work!
PhD candidates, Madison Driskill and @NetraUnni, represented the lab well at #microneedlesconference 2023 in Seattle! Madison presented a poster on solid state formulations and MAP delivery, while Netra gave a talk on our #3dprinted L-MAP technology. Way to go!

It was surreal to see my PhD work in the @DeSimoneLab featured in the Art of Science Exhibition by @StanfordEng MRS! This work depicts the scale of our 3D-printed patches while my nail art shows the complex, lattice geometries of needles on the patch! #sciart #STEAM #scicomm

Kicking off the new year with a #CoffeewithChris session catching up with our very own @uoftengineering Dean ! Thinking back to all the helpful advice Dean Yip gave me throughout my undergrad... so grateful for your mentorship!
Great to catch up with @NetraUnni today #CoffeewithChris to hear about how her PhD @Stanford #BE was going and to think back to chats during her @EngSciClub #BME #2T0. 👍👍 Well done indeed
