The trade was a win for Brooklyn the day it happened. Mikal was a good player, but the Nets weren’t winning with him as their #1 option. Turning a non-All-Star into 5 firsts and a swap was exactly what a rebuilding team should do. The Knicks succeeding doesn’t change that the Nets got maximum value for an asset that wasn’t taking them anywher

Two OKC players the Nets should pursue - Isaiah Joe & Aaron Wiggins.
Both players have shown flashes of great play during their career, but their future in OKC is murky as both of their minutes declining this past season. A move to Brooklyn could help both sides, and I can’t imagine that the asking price is very high. In the NBA, one team’s leftovers can quickly become another team’s entree - Nets should take a flyer on these two 💯 🔥
