Great idea, Sean Marks. He’s just been playing so good recently that it’s only fitting for the Brooklyn Nets to acquire him
Some executives are pointing towards the Nets as a strong fit for De’Aaron Fox, if the Spurs try to trade him this summer to let Dylan Harper take over. Fox’s massive extension kicking in will significantly impact his value. In Brooklyn, Fox would reunite with Jordi Fernandez.

According to the YES network legend - @ScoopB The Nets were reportedly much closer to landing Giannis than most people realized. Brooklyn and Milwaukee had already established a trade framework before talks ultimately fell through. 👀 🔥 💯

From what I have heard - Brooklyn loved what they saw from Ament in workouts this week. He has been one of their most coveted prospects thus far in the draft process. If Brooklyn is prioritizing size and positional versatility, Ament checks those boxes. 💯 x.com/DraftExpress/status/20…

The Brooklyn Nets not having a their own 1st RD pick in the 2027 NBA draft, coupled with the fact they currently have the clear worst roster in the NBA - tells me that there is a slim chance that MPJ is playing for the Brooklyn Nets beyond next trade deadline 🤔 💯
Michael Porter Jr. is a potential trade candidate if he doesn’t sign an extension in Brooklyn, per @MikeAScotto “With Porter Jr. entering the prime of his career and the Nets in the midst of a rebuild, executives across the league have always questioned if their timelines would fit beyond his current contract. If the Nets don’t agree to an extension with Porter Jr., teams around the league are expected to poke around on his trade availability.” (Via hoopshype.com/story/sports/n…)

Sean Marks phone could be ringing. If Sacramento is willing to pay to move from No. 7 to No. 6 for Darius Acuff Jr., the Nets should seriously consider it. Move back one spot. Add another asset. Still land a high-end prospect. What’s the minimum you’d accept from Sacramento to move back 1 spot and allow them to draft Acuff?
The Kings covet Darius Acuff Jr., and they could look to move up from No. 7 overall to secure him. With Darius Garland cemented as the Clippers’ point guard, they stand out as a logical trade partner at No. 5. LA would net future draft capital from Sacramento in this scenario.

If the Nets made Nic Claxton available today, what would you realistically accept in return? A future 1st? A young player pick? Multiple 1sts? Curious where Nets fans value Claxton after 7 seasons with Brooklyn

Darius Acuff Jr. reportedly worked out for the Nets this past Wednesday. The 5-star guard and projected Top 10 pick is firmly on Brooklyn’s radar ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft 🔥

The trade was a win for Brooklyn the day it happened. Mikal was a good player, but the Nets weren’t winning with him as their #1 option. Turning a non-All-Star into 5 firsts and a swap was exactly what a rebuilding team should do. The Knicks succeeding doesn’t change that the Nets got maximum value for an asset that wasn’t taking them anywher
#Nets fans still think they won that trade?

So essentially the trade from the Nets perspective looks like this: Nets (Going Out): Dayton Sharpe 43rd overall pick Nets (coming in): Isaiah Hartenstein Aaron Wiggins Sam Merrill Thoughts?
Bleacher Report’s four-team mock trade: Thunder receive: 🔹 Evan Mobley 🔹 No. 29 pick (via Cavs) 🔹 $28.5M TE (Isaiah Hartenstein) 🔹 $11.3M TE (Isaiah Joe) Cavaliers receive: 🔸 Giannis Antetokounmpo 🔸 No. 43 pick (via Nets) Bucks receive: 🔹 Jalen Williams 🔹 Isaiah Joe 🔹 Day’Ron Sharpe 🔹 No. 17 pick (via OKC) Nets receive: 🔸 Isaiah Hartenstein 🔸 Aaron Wiggins 🔸 Sam Merrill (H/T @RTNBA)

Two OKC players the Nets should pursue - Isaiah Joe & Aaron Wiggins. Both players have shown flashes of great play during their career, but their future in OKC is murky as both of their minutes declining this past season. A move to Brooklyn could help both sides, and I can’t imagine that the asking price is very high. In the NBA, one team’s leftovers can quickly become another team’s entree - Nets should take a flyer on these two 💯 🔥

Help me out here. Am I tripping or was Skip Bayless the biggest spurs fan on TV for a long time? Especially during his LBJ hating peak-era
Wemby didn’t look like an MVP. He didn't look dominant. SGA completely outplayed him.
