Failed State. There is no situation that requires those who govern the state to take responsibility in return for the powers given to them.
When citizens realize that the state is actually for them, learn about accountability, then politicians can feel a sense of responsibility.

The government has completely stepped aside. It is not producing any solutions, it is not taking responsibility. It has literally left us alone.
It is up to social media users to overcome problems that need to be thought through, invested in, and solved.

Citizenship information is being stolen and sold for pennies.
The legal system is completely blocked and untrusted.
Increasing number of violent gangs on the streets.
Sexual harassment and extortion, even on children.

I haven’t even started on illegal immigration or economical collapse.
Sad thing is, no one else knows what to do. It won't be solved in a couple years anyways. I don't know how to fix a system that is so structurally contradictory.

In the meantime, the government banned Discord as an action to prevent children from sexual harassment and extortion. Not even a band-aid solution to a ripped off arm.
The stupidity on not seeing the bigger picture is killing me.
