A couple off season notes that some aren’t completely sure about:
1) Darnell Nurse will be traded. And the Oilers will not have to give up a sweetener or take back bad contracts.
2) Although he is being investigated by the league, Mike Babcock will be the next HC of the Oilers.

I believe the best fit for Darnell Nurse would be in Pittsburgh. He’s got a connection to the GM. Plus I believe that Crosby brings out the best in players and puts expectations on them. Nothing against McDavid, they’re just different captains. Crosby leads by example, making 1/2

Trading nurse not only helps the defence but it would also improve Jarrys game.
Nurse causes a lot of chaos. He doesn’t really steady anything down back there. And when there’s a kink in the chain, the whole defence as a whole struggles. And that negativity impacts the goalie.

Apparently the Oilers aren’t too concerned about moving Nurse, they feel it’ll happen. It’s the Jarry contract that worries them.
As for Frederic, they’ll try and move him, but aren’t too bullish. If a team comes calling, they’ll answer. But they seem to have bigger fish to fry.
