Thanks to our VISTA Center, Louisiana Tech is now offering a new Bachelor of Science in Scientific Visual Communication.
It's the first interdisciplinary degree program in scientific communication in the state of Louisiana.

5 years ago @LATech brought @NASA astronaut @AstroSerena to campus and this mama and her girl got to hang out with her. Today we visited the space center, saw Serena’s pic on the wall, and had an amazing day!

Not many people have the determination & dedication to train for a 1/2 marathon in Louisiana in July but my friend @JennyBlalock124 is one of those inspiring people. Thanks for letting me be there for the last training run. The miles & training have been put in. You’ve got this!

Completed the Firecracker 5K with the kids and saw some @LATechAlumni including Matt Busby (former member of my lab and now ER doc), Steen Trawick, and Caroline Anderson (former member of COES Badger softball team)

Kids have a 5k coming up which means lots of laps on the track. They start with 12 sticks, when they are all on the field we know we are done.
