Today MaM is featured front-page in USA Today papers. Again w/ dumb tagline of "one-sided, inaccurate, unfair to police." These same outlets blindly regurgitated Kratz's nonsensical "facts left out"—riddled w/ lies & omissions far more distorted than anything MaM is accused of.

Brendan's case should've been the 1st pardon after Evers took over, if his team dared to review the case on its own merits via the court files & interrogations. 107 others have been pardoned by him since 2018. No case could possibly have less evidence than Brendan's. Travesty.
"It felt good, people will realise we mean business," said Brendan's mother when I asked what the board in Manitowoc means to her. Brendan's father passes it every day to & from work. It's not only awareness. They represent hope to Brendan, his family & supporters. @GovEvers

htrnews.com/story/news/2020/… "The documentary, which has yet to be sold...He said he is confident that a buyer will come forward.." 😂Rech still hoping to find interest in his chronically delayed Kratz puff-piece, which I assume is as well fact-checked as Kratz' book & media blurbs.

You know who else was hurt, Shawn Rech? The Dassey family whose loved one was wrongly interrogated w/out any guardian in a series of ever-evolving "confessions" based only on guesswork & info spoon-fed by the deceptive investigators, who cared only about removing BD as an alibi.

Then there is the Avery family, who from day one were irreparably hurt and robbed of any chance at a fair trial by the relentless national media coverage and opportunistic investigators. Where Kratz vowed to not try the case in the media but did exactly that, even to this day. 😡

Brendan's treatment is soul-crushing. A vulnerable teen w/ IEP, coerced thru many zealous interrogations & jury still convicts him of more crimes than Avery w/ no parole through 2048. Brendan & Avery are Exhibit A of all that is wrong in this "convict-at-any-cost" mentality.

Brendan was convicted based only on a coerced confession, despite every remark deviating from reality. The state works hard to omit public mention of his 2/27 version of events, which were entirely different from 3/1. Rarely has there been such injustice and vindictiveness.

Brendan's case is the most demonstrably false "confession" of all-time.. No evidence supports his claims beyond what he was fed, after repeatedly guessing wrong answers. All evidence is exculpatory. 4 federal judges declared his conviction unconstitutional. #BringBrendanHome

Barb's 11-09 interview audio: clyp.it/bffqqblw Barb: I didn't have an argument with him, I just told him. Barb: He asked me if he should. I told him, do what he's gotta do. I [said] it really doesn't pay though. Barb: [Van] was no use to me. (Thx u/seekingtruthforgood)

On the topic of "excluding facts...that contradict their false narrative." Colborn's lawsuit describes Jodi's complaint against Avery in 2004 as evidence omitted from #MakingAMurderer. However, Colborn omits the next paragraph of said report. Griesbach did the same in his book.

Speaking of "distortion of material," Colborn's lawsuit contains a version of the alleged "different statements" Avery made about Teresa. This includes the discredited "never showed up" claim and another based entirely on Colborn's own 8 month delayed summary. #MakingAMurderer 🤥

Colborn/Griesbach: "Despite overwhelming evidence proving Avery and Dassey’s guilt..." What overwhelming evidence proves TH was raped, stabbed, throat slashed, choked, punched, hair chopped off, shot 11 times? You mean these safety release sex toys w/out TH DNA? #MakingAMurderer

"At no time during Colborn's employment at MTSO did he serve as a spokesperson...has in no other way injected himself into the controversy surrounding the Avery case." Wait, what's this? A wall-of-text Colborn wrote for his boss & dept. for counter-MaM press releases. LOOK AWAY!

"Colborn has refrained from public comment & has in no other way injected himself into the controversy" He lashed out against USA Today in '16 and gave quotes & commentary to Kratz for his very public book. Says the "public abuse" occurred 10 years prior to MaM in Kratz's book.
Here is a link to the complaint filed by Andrew Colborn against @Netflix and @MakingAMurderer producers #MakingAMurderer dropbox.com/s/q4m3b4otb5sz8a…

I just finished watching The Innocent Man, a 6 part film now streaming on Netflix. It shines an important light on how the criminal justice system works in small towns all over the US, and how tunnel vision, false confessions and junk science create wrongful convictions.

Some of Judge Fox's falsehoods: "Halbach was murdered on October 30, 2005." "Dassey was able to identify the fact that Teresa was shot in the left side of her head." "Dassey acknowledged he helped put things on the fire including the seat from Teresa's RAV4." #MakingAMurderer

Judge Fox in his 2010 appellate denial proved he had no grasp on the actual facts of the Halbach case. Yet, his order was blindly affirmed by the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and ultimately the 7th Circuit majority; four federal judges strongly disagreed with it. #FreeBrendanDassey

Another example of person "confessing" by guessing answers to finish interrogation & being fed all the answers. Robert Davis spent 13 years in prison. Took a new governor to finally investigate and release him at end of 2015. #MakingAMurderer #FreeBrendanDassey @WiscDOJ @Tony4WI
