ALT NGP is Leaving Twitter/X. NextGen Policy believes in building a more equitable, prosperous and climate resilient California, for everyone. As advocates fighting for change centered around this mission, we’ve been faced with a philosophical decision and have decided to leave the Twitter (X) platform because it has transformed into a landscape filled with hatred, negativity, and vitriol. We want to be part of a community that believes in and promotes civil discourse; uplifts opportunities to learn from and exchange ideas with one another; and above all, fosters mutual respect. For NextGen, we no longer feel that Twitter (X) shares this value set. That's why, as of today, the NextGen Policy team is saying goodbye to Twitter (X) – but there are still plenty of spaces where you can keep up with us and our advocacy work!
