Web3 Gaming should mean empowerment, ownership and changes to tradition. We make the games, you make the $.
TLDR: Our Discord Bots (Scribe, Conquest, and other games) are shifting to an affiliate/rev share model in 2024.
This Spring, we pivoted almost overnight to Discord, growing our Scribe ecosystem to 9,467 members. Discord Conquest boasts 992 hours of gameplay across 30,177 sessions in 37 communities. SpellSword Saga (an easier version of Conquest featuring Battlefields) is on docket to be featured by Discord sometime within the next 3 months. It's been HARD but, we've persevered, thanks to community support.
We aren't aiming for massive profits flowing in one direction, but community empowerment. We prioritize partnerships and collaborations over traditional investments, focusing on community-driven gaming. Communities play a key role, hosting tournaments and events. We’re enhancing customization tools, shifting revenue towards active communities and community members. This includes rewards for battlefield/shop owners, MultiPass users creating Game Bosses, and high-engagement players.
Here is a planned revenue share breakdown from subscriptions, premium features, and in-app-purchases:
* Communities hosting Scribe/games: 25%
* Battlefields (with customization): 25%
* MultiPass owners (Game Boss setup): 10%
* Active players: 10%
Remaining 30% to our team, plus all NFT sales and other sources. The
$PLAY token, linked to player XP, is BACK under development with regulatory considerations top of mind. We may use the existing token or migrate to an ERC-20. It may act as a utility token to help steer the direction of revenue sharing and game development.
We're wrapping up a pivotal year, readying for a significant push by focusing on revenue systems, reporting/transparency, bug fixes, and feature enhancements. We'll continue making NEW games, integrating existing collections like Battlefields, LootShop items, MultiPasses, and Superpasses for enhanced gameplay. We highly value your feedback and promotion efforts, and are committed to rewarding those who contribute significantly.
Also, maybe it's time to bring back
