Today, Carla Stout spoke at the Niagara Economic Summit, bringing the Transit Master Plan directly to business leaders and politicians. Her message: transit isn't just about buses and routes. It's about connecting workers to jobs, businesses to talent, and strengthening our regional economy. The plan has the potential to transform how Niagara works. Want to see it happen? Niagara Transit Plus: We're aware that SMS messages from the Niagara Transit Plus app are failing or arriving late right now. This issue stems from a widespread problem affecting Amazon Web Services (AWS), which powers our messaging system. Real-time notifications won't work as expected while this persists. We're actively working to resolve it with our providers and will update you as soon as we have more information. Thanks for your patience.

Today presents an opportunity for reflection, education, and collaboration to build a more just future. We honour the survivors of residential schools and remember those who did not return home. We commit to learning the truth about this painful history and working towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. #truthandreconciliation #everychildmatters #orangeshirtday
