So this is pretty wild. It seems like Starfox could work on Genesis/MD without additional hardware. Though, that also makes me wonder how it would fare with the SVP chip as this demo is already often twice the frame-rate of the Super NES original.

The scramble intro sound and the music during gameplay are streaming sample rate at 12khz (2 to 1 compresion adpcm type, the same format I used on wolf3d) playing with the z80. #starfox, #SegaGenesis, #Megadrive

Drilling for North Sea gas and fracking is something I really disagree with
But it makes me fkking angry that it’s not part of a larger “energy independence” package that includes solar and onshore wind. Two of the cheapest and quickest ways to get an energy surplus in the UK

Can we please start putting up onshore wind turbines again? Stop the daft rules that make nimbyism much easier? Set up a loan scheme for solar panels and battery storage (so it pays for itself eventually)
I’m not so against Nuclear, but, you know, do the cheap electricity too?

I see that many people complain that peat-free composts are not as good as peat based ones. I have not used peat in a growing medium for over 25 years and have never had any problems at all. Some are better than others but ALL are better than using peat!

FUN FACT: Renewables are NINE times cheaper than gas.
It's almost like we should switch to energy sources that cost less and don't burn the planet.

Still rather annoyed at how much cheaper Gas is. It can never be clean, or good for the environment. Electricity generation cost is coming down significantly with renewables and yet it’s the one that so much higher.
Though both are too expensive I’m here in the uk.

Daily standing charge was 45.3p now 46.3p
Unit rate kWHwas 28.3p now 51.8p
Gas:
Daily standing charge was 27.2p now 28.4p
Unit rate per kWh was 7.4p now 14.8p
(Ie you pay ÂŁ273/yr before any energy use)

It’s cheaper with Air Source Heat Pump for heating than boiler (400% efficient compared to 90). wish the government would make the enviro saving (& cost saving) energy calls as insulation & much cheaper ASHP (a luxury priced item)… both mean cheaper bills & energy for the uk
