A new paper in @GEB_macro tests out the NicheMapR microclimate model's snow algorithm and uses it to predict the consequences of historical and future warming on cold exposure for ectotherms and endotherms doi.org/10.1111/geb.13100

NicheMapR can predict hourly soil moisture and water potential - here's a link providing free access for 50 days to a paper I wrote with James Maino testing it out authors.elsevier.com/a/1WxcA… Also a NicheMapR v1.4 will be released shortly.

NicheMapR 1.1.3 is released, with a correction and new input/output for soil moisture modelling. A Linux compilation is now on github too.
