The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

The terminal was the only thing keeping Hermes off most people's computers.

Nous just shipped the Hermes desktop app. You download it like any app, it installs itself, and two minutes later you're running one of the most powerful agents out there. No code. No setup wizard.
I made a full walkthrough. The install, every panel, hooking it to Telegram, and two real jobs it now runs for me on a schedule.
I've had Hermes on my machine for months. This is the first version I'd actually hand to a normal person.

Anthropic just published the fix for Claude Code. Almost nobody will read it.
I've run Claude Code on client work for 2 years.
Past a certain size it forgets your codebase and edits the wrong files. I blamed the model every time.
The model was never the problem.
It's 7 pieces you wire up once. Then the forgetting stops.
