Toys for Bob hopes Spyro: A Realm Beyond is the start of a new chapter for the franchise, not just a one-time comeback.
Studio head Paul Yan said the team wants the upcoming game to be โthe first of manyโ and added, โWe want Spyro to live on for a long time.โ
Yan said the developers want to keep what fans love about Spyro while trying new ideas and taking creative risks.
Even if some changes feel different at first, they want to help the series grow instead of repeating the past.
Spyro: A Realm Beyond will be Spyroโs first new game in nearly 20 years and will feature free-flight mechanics that have shaped the design of the world.
