In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel.
This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide.
I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Temitope Segun, aged 25, was last seen around Woolwich High Street at around 6.40pm on Monday, there is a manhunt on for him and police have said do not approach him if you see him but call police immediately. He has escaped a prison van in London, last year being drunk on red wine and high on cocaine he held a knife to a woman's throat saying if she screams nobody would hear her and he violently raped her cutting off the victims clothes and then performing as charged four acts of rape which he was charged for .
