No way we’re hyping up Packer WRs
Bucky Brooks on Daniel Jeremiah's podcast:
"Jon-Eric Sullivan, son of Jerry Sullivan, one of the best WR coaches we've ever seen in the league." Almost verbatim.
This is why the Packers never take WRs in the 1st round... because they can scout well enough to hit on prospects further down in the draft. Then obviously they were confident in coaching them up.
Pretty confident in 43 being the first potential spot we could see Miami go WR. If they love a guy it's possible at 11 or 30, but I think it's rather unlikely.
I could see Miami trading back from 30 a handful of spots and getting ahead of the expected early Day 2 runs on WR.
I think a more likely scenario is using one those 3rd RDers and moving up from 43 to get one they really like. I lean this way because I think 30 will go to an Edge player if they don't get one at 11.
The Packers have a strong history of moving around at the end of the 1st and in the 2nd Round. One thing Sully has not done yet, is gain any 2027 capital and I think that's something to monitor and something he wants to change.
Obviously impossible to predict draft night but using everything I know, I think that's roughly where I'd bet my money if I had to.
