I can't put into words why I feel this way, but for some reason playing against the current crop of grass decks (Meganium decks, the new Beedrill, I'll count Crustle in there too) has consistently gotten me irrationally tilted... so I'm playing this fire deck as a coping mechanism. Call it self care, call it self-soothing....

Disagree that there were "no issues" at the Seattle Regionals.
I personally hit three different decks playing Shaymin when I was playing Slowking and... okay, it was only two but one of them was a Charizard deck and who tf played Shaymin in Charizard? I'd call that an "issue."
There needs to be a serious conversation in the community regarding @GamingGen. This post is not to degrade any professors or staff who are genuinely trying to make events as successful and smooth as they can.
This organizer has been in charge of NA regionals for 2 seasons now and quality of event has drastically deteriorated in that time. We have seen event prices increase over that time. I decided to track the experiences from myself, people I know and posts made on social media regarding the events and I have those results prepared.
This is not an attack post but more of a reflection on the TO we have had for 2 years now. As a community, we should strive for consistently smooth events and constant improvement on those events and I think most people would acknowledge that that is not something we have seen from GG.

R6 vs N's Zoroark.
I had a great turn 1, and they itchy pollened me with only a Budew in play (later said it was a misclick). I Lillie's Determinationed but item lock prevented a board wipe.
I had Shaymin in hand (hadn't benched) and was watching for the Darmanitan but instead they used Transformation Tome to turn their Meowth into a Darumaka which they then evolved into a Darmanitan to Boss and snipe both attackers. Too strong. 4-2 drop.
Thanks @Senor_Doom as always for a fun tourney.
I've really gotta quit playing this deck.

Playing in today's @RareCandyClub online #PokemonTCG tournament. Brought my Joltik Box deck out of its cave.
R1 L vs Raging Bolt, prized both my metal energies.
R2 W vs Beedrill. I KOed their Beedrill ex T2 and they rage-quit.
R3 W vs Hydrapple.
R4 W vs Mega Greninja.
3-1 start.

R5 vs Dragapult Dusknoir.
Had no way to get Precious Trolley turn 1 going 2nd so Jolting Charged to a Fezandipiti and Lillie's Clefairy. Fez Cruel Arrowed 3 Pokemon (2x Drakloak & a Dusclops) before they got Dragapult up, which KOed Fez.
Clefairy KO'ed Pult.
New Pult KO'ed Clefairy and Unfair Stamped me into energy and Boss FTW.
4-1. One more round before top cut. Will I make it?

R6 vs Slowking. I know this matchup! Confident going in.
Then I started Bloodmoon.
Turn 1 going 2nd, had everything I need for a good setup (Petrel energy) and played Petrel.
No Precious Trolley. Prized.
Two ultra balls in hand for setup.
After they KOed my bear, I was miraculously able to get one Torrential Pump from Wellspring to KO a Slowpoke and Slowking for 2 prizes. Trolley? Please? Nope.
I sob-locked their Mega Kang but they manually-attached energy over three turns and I drew nothing. Another Boss' Orders (or way to get one) could've changed everything as they discarded their one switch turn 1. Oh well.
Finished 4-2 for 12th place out of 105.

Fun format! Too bad half the field was DQed round 1 for not keeping their deck lists single-prize (or not seeing the banned card list) 😅
