It was so good to spend the weekend in the @Peterborodio
with Bishop Debbie.
From Church in the Park and St Christopher’s Care Home, to Holy Sepulchre’s work alongside people facing hardship and the chaplaincy team at Kettering General Hospital, I saw churches bringing hope to their communities every day.
Wonderful too to worship at Oundle Parish Church and at Peterborough Cathedral.
People ask where hope is. This weekend I saw it clearly - in communities serving others with love and faithfulness.
A great light has gone out: our dear friend and RPS Circle Member, star soprano Dame Felicity Lott has sadly died. What a voice, what a personality, what a wonder. She will be much missed.
It was an honour to meet and pray with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV @Pontifex this morning. I’m deeply grateful for his gracious welcome at the Apostolic Palace.
In the years to come, I will remain united with the Pope in prayer – for peace in our world, for justice, and for every person to discover the fullness of life that God offers.
The ecumenical pilgrimage is always one we make together, as a fellowship of Christians seeking the unity for which Christ prayed. Your Holiness, as your sister in Christ, in a spirit of prayer, friendship, and hope, I commend our shared journey into the hands of God.

Jesus doesn’t wait for us to have it all together. He is with us in the darkness. He calls us by name and invites us to be with him in the light of the resurrection, to trust that we are known and loved.
