The Habs may still be a few years from being true contenders, but the truth is they aren't that far off the Carolina Hurricanes, as their rosters aren't too different. Do you think the Habs should continue following the Canes' blueprint? #GoHabsGo thesickpodcast.com/why-the-h…

This might sound weird but I think the main difference between the Habs and Hurricanes' core, comes down to their top defensemen who are arguably the reason that each team has their respective identity. Up until Suzuki smashed 100 points, he was on par offensively with Aho.

The same can be said of Slafkovsky- Svechnikov as a skilled power forward type. Caufield is a little better goal scorer than Jarvis. Healthy Dobson is probably on par with Miller. Danault = a poor man's Staal. Newhook similar to Stankoven play style. A lot of similarities.

Not to mention having the cream of the crop of player coaches in both cases.

Jordan Staal is the oldest Conn Smythe winner ever! Wow that's impressive tbh.

Congrats to the Carolina Hurricanes who definitely deserved to win this Stanley Cup with their dominant playoff performance as a team. First Cup in 20 years

The Montreal Canadiens will be looking to improve their team during the off-season, and while prospects and picks have been discussed as potential trade chips, defenseman Kaiden Guhle could be a key piece in a potential deal. #GoHabsGo #HabsTradeChips thesickpodcast.com/could-kai…

Man I hope to celebrate a Habs Stanley Cup win, the way Knicks fans get to celebrate their NBA Championship win someday.
