The MSHSL Girls Hockey Official of the Year Award recognizes the dedication of officials who help make the game possible. This year, that honor belongs to St. Paul referee Michaela Bahl.
Bahl, a native of San Diego, moved to Minnesota several years ago and has since become a staple at rinks throughout the state of hockey, where her passion for the game has grown and led to excellence as a hockey official and a bright future in the game.
