Came back on here for the first time in weeks to see anonymous bot accounts passing off my videos and words as their own. I'm annoyed, flattered, and sad but not surprised for this platform.

Just stealing my stuff without credit. This is happening multiple times a week. Just mention the person who's video & words you're referencing. Not doing so is a short-term win, but builds so much bad faith.
Six months ago my Obsidian vault had 2,000 notes and I could not find anything. I rebuilt the entire structure in one afternoon using this exact system. I have not lost a single idea since. The people who set this up today will wonder how they ever worked without it.

Pretty gross to steal my video and words without as much as a hat tip.
Most people start Obsidian the wrong way. They import 10,000 notes. Build 50 folders. Install 20 plugins. Then quit a week later. If I had to restart Obsidian today, I’d do the opposite: • Start with 5 meaningful notes • Create ZERO folders • Ignore plugins completely • Focus only on connecting ideas That’s the real unlock. Obsidian isn’t a notes app. It’s a personal internet for your mind. The magic happens when you use one simple prompt: “This reminds me of…” A quote links to a book. A book links to a song. A song links to a memory. A memory links to an insight. That’s how real thinking compounds. The goal isn’t collecting information. It’s building connections your brain can return to later. AI can summarize notes. But only YOU can create meaningful links between ideas. That’s where the leverage is. Follow @damidefi for more AI alpha.

I have been working on Obsidian Reader for a over a year. I didn't want to share it until I felt it was good enough. It's finally there. Consistent formatting for any article. Outline, syntax highlighting, nice footnotes, adjustable typography. Runs locally. Just rules, no AI.

If @openclaw has the core "workspace" files, what does Claude Cowork have? How is Cowork's "soul" regulated? For Claude Code, it was a readme file. Same for Cowork? What are other best practices that have been working for you?

New essay: “Which Future?” On how to wisely navigate risks from transformative technology, especially artificial superintelligence (ASI). This condenses much of the key thinking from my more extended essays

Obsidian has officially won the note wars [Video] Everyone seems to be scrambling to install complex protocols, paying for plugins or built-in AI subscriptions—or just switching apps once again—as their current app fails to catch up to the latest AI developments. Meanwhile, in Obsidian, AI integration looks like this: Point AI at a folder. And you're done. Or, if you're like many, don't integrate AI at all. Either way, with Obsidian, it's your choice. Watch 👇

Cognitive overload is going to get a lot more debilitating when the dopamine wears off. Be ready for it to happen. Be kind to yourself when it does.
Bro I hate to break it to you

Excellent article. I'm already on 1Password. I'm very interested what they do next.
MoltBot shows what agentic AI can really do when software has memory, autonomy, and deep system access. It also exposes a gap most security models weren’t built for. When agents store tokens, configs, and long-term memory as plain text on disk, a compromise doesn’t just expose credentials, it leaks context too. Security for agents can’t be a one-time approval. It’s about continuously mediating it. @jmeller breaks it down ⤵️ bit.ly/4boMvVX

Make a second Obsidian vault just for your personal AI assistant. Thank me later.
