Many England fans have based themselves in Dรผsseldorf throughout this tournament, or at least visited on occasions, but for those that havenโt, we hope this info helps.

England fans will likely make full use of the Altstadt (Old Town) area and the river front from there. But Dรผsseldorf is big enough that you wonโt struggle to find something that suits.
If you like Fan Zones, you can head to Burgplatz, near the Altstadt, or Schauspielhaus. There is a public viewing area on the riverfront, just along from Burgplatz.
Fans without tickets can watch the game at any of the above. Do not travel to the stadium.

Fans will once again have free travel from 6am on Saturday 6th July until 6pm on Sunday 7th July, as long as you have a match ticket and have downloaded the UEFA Fan Pass via the UEFA EURO 2024 app.
The free travel can only be used on regional services (no IC/ICE/EC trains) within the VRR and VRS regions. Fans travelling from outside of these regions must pay for a ticket, you can make use of โฌ29.90 ICE train tickets, but you must have booked more than 24 hours in advance of travel.

ESTC members are based on the north side of the stadium. The stadium will open at 15:00.
It is advised that fans use the U78 tram line to the Sportpark Nord/Europlatz from the main station or from Heinrich-Heine-Allee, near the Altstadt. We have been told trams will run approximately every 3-5 mins, with capacity for around 650 people on each tram.
You can also walk to the stadium (or take an e-scooter ๐) along the river, which takes around 75 mins. Swiss fans will be meeting further along the river front towards the stadium and walking en masse to the stadium around 2:30pm, so would expect that to be crowded then.
If situated in the south, there are some shuttle buses running from Heinrich-Heine-Allee but they really arenโt recommended if you arenโt in the south. It is a very long walk to the north side if you do this.
There are also shuttle buses from the airport, and the airport station (two different locations).

The stadium will remain open for a good chunk of time after the game, if you wanted to let the crowds die down.

The tram stop you get off at going to the ground is not the same as what you will use after. Youโll have to use Merkur-Spiel-Arena/Messe Nord for the U78, which is located at the south of the stadium. We expect this to be busy but games that have taken place before have seemingly been relatively smooth. It can take around an hour to clear.
You can also walk back along the river, or make use of shuttles back to the airport and then itโs a short train back to the city from there.

If fans have any issues with tickets, you can visit the ticket resolution centres at the stadium which open seven hours before kick-off.
