It is very important that all those at every grade in the medical profession in The United Kingdom respond to this consultation.

It is essential for patient safety that patients undergoing cosmetic, or any other surgical procedure, are treated by surgeons who have been trained, not just in the procedure, but in recognising and treating the complications and sequelae of surgery in general and the procedure.

What a major advance in the provision of breast reconstruction. If a patient can avoid the need for future surgery by using autologous tissue it is a blessing and it is also proven to be more cost effective in the long term. Well done Oregon! kptv.com/2025/10/15/oregon-b…

CBS STATEMENT ON JAMES GILBERT Oxford transplant surgeon James Gilbert is eligible to return to work this month after serving only a one-year suspension — an MPTS sanction for sexually harassing female colleagues over a period of 13 years. His case echoes the concerning findings of research which found 23.9% of sanctions involving sexual misconduct were more lenient than GMC recommendations, and just 35% resulted in full erasure. #RyderCup2025 Time for a new red #MAGGA American baseball cap logo? Standing for “Make American Golf Great Again”. What a terrible advert for the USA from your bunch of uncouth, boorish supporters!

Unless this student really wants to be a doctor, they would be best advised to go for another career, unless they are already focussed on research. But that would be odd! You really do not to be extremely bright to be a doctor. Don’t waste 7 yrs of your life to hate the job!
