On quick reflection, yesterday was a (but not *the*) great release: an acute, final breakdown/shattering of Trumpism & the mirage of its social power. Between Georgia culminating Trumpism’s destruction of the GOP, then the Capitol, the spell has been broken.

I was asked whether today was "the great release". Think fractally, we see 3 nested complex adaptive cycles: today was an acute release of the past few week's frustration cycle; it was culminating release of 4 year grievance-euphoria; & an event in multi-yr national great release

Feeling joy can be one of the harder feelings to feel when you've had a lot of trauma. Sometimes just feeling joy can be a trigger - because you expect the rug to be pulled out from under you. Your joy is deserved. Let it be so.
