I’m 61 and I’ve been round the block when it comes to disabled people, work and benefits. I’m hearing it’s people’s ‘duty’ to get back into the workplace, but during my career, I’ve been sacked, denied promotion, pay rises and work opportunities, because I’m visually impaired.

This woman from Wales was recently prosecuted for not paying her TV licence.
She made clear she'd been in an abusive relationship and relying on foodbanks, but was now able to pay in full.
The case went ahead and she got a £146 court bill and criminal record.

The government write trans guidance for schools without speaking to any trans people or any schools.
Then plan to ‘consult’ the general public and a “range of interested organisations”
Including organised hate groups.

The government’s trans policy guidance for schools was meant to be published this summer.
I asked the Education Secretary how many times she’s met about it with LGBT organisations.
The answer: zero. Not once.
That’s how much contempt the Tories have for the LGBT community.

I don't come here that often anymore but I've now submitted by PhD! I worked together with organisations that deliver RSE to build escape rooms, games, and activities and to learn about what's important for them in the creation of sex education programmes.

Apparently the government are planning to tell doctor's to "sign fewer patients off sick" to reinvigorate the economy.
Unfortunately, just telling people they are not sick, doesn't make them not sick, so I think this plan will probably fail.

Last month I worked undercover with debt collectors breaking into homes of vulnerable families for British Gas
We were sent to force-fit prepayment meters at homes including one where a mum was with her 4 week old baby.
If families cannot top up, their heating can be cut off
