Heartbreaking news. It's not a exaggeration to say I grew up in this building. Support your smaller independent art house cinemas twice as much this year! Don't let this be a trend. My heart goes out to everyone working there today. x

Unashamedly hooked on chess drama last couple weeks. Neimann is definitely incredible great at something... Time will tell which it is (hopefully). My sincere wish is that it would be so magnificat if it just turned out he just was the greatest chess player ever. What a twist!

Interesting fact, early on I actually did a workshop/read through of my script with an all female cast as thought that'd be amazing. Discovered most plot points and character decisions didn't work as no one is as mind blowingly stupid as teenage boys are.

Our film opening Edinburgh Film Festival 2019 was literally one of the all time highlights of my whole darn life. So happy to see it up and running again and with a great looking programme. Such an amazing film festival, if you're in Edinburgh or going to be there go get tickets!
