The league subreddit moderator team is one of the groups most directly responsible for the decline of the game/esport over the last decade. Everything gets removed unless it contributes to the cesspool of slop/doomerism in there. Shame.
Locke's voice-actor made a post on the League subreddit for an AMA about his role and the post got deleted by the mods 😭

With everything we are hearing right now about ticks this seems like good information to share. “Here’s what I’ve learned after more ticks than I care to count. First, whatever your uncle told you, forget it. No matches. No nail polish. No Vaseline. No soap on a cotton ball. All of those do the same terrible thing, they stress the tick out, and a stressed tick empties its gut back into the bite before letting go. Which, if you think about what that actually means for a second, is literally how Lyme and the rest get transmitted so you’re not speeding up its exit. You’re making it throw up into you. Fine-tipped tweezers. Grip right where the mouthparts enter the skin, not the body, the head. Pull straight up, steady, no twisting, no jerking. It’ll feel like it’s resisting because it is, the mouthparts are barbed. Just keep the pressure on and it lets go in a few seconds. If a piece breaks off in the skin, leave it alone. Your body pushes splinters out. Digging around with a needle does more damage then the fragment ever would. Clean it with alcohol or soap. Wash your hands. Now here’s the part most people skip: don’t flush the tick. Tape it to an index card. Clear packing tape right over the body, write the date and where on your body it was, and stick the card in a drawer. If you come down with anything weird in the next 30 days, rash, fever, joint pain, that flu-that-isn’t-flu feeling, that tick goes with you to the doctor. Some labs will test the tick itself, which is faster and often more reliable than waiting for antibodies to show up in your own blood. A dated tick taped to a card is one of the most useful things you can hand a doctor who’s trying to figure out what’s wrong with you. The other thing worth saying out loud: if the tick was engorged when you pulled it, and you can’t swear it was off your body within 24 hours, call your doctor that same day. Don’t wait for a rash. Fewer than three out of four Lyme cases even produce the classic bullseye. A single preventive dose of doxycycline within 72 hours of a deer tick bite cuts the Lyme odds way down, and most docs in tick country will write that prescription without giving you a hard time, especially if you walk in with the tick taped to a card and a clear timeline.”

LeaguesGG owe me 4 digits for work that I did earlier this year. Not only will I NEVER see this money, but because they have liquidated their company, their VAT is now deleted, so I have to pay tax for them too. I hope none of you touches esports ever again.

I appreciate @MrsChimChimLOL show and getting this out of Perry, something I've known since Perry's interview with Travis. Reading through this thread: I've never been more motivated to step away from T2 and my work. Majority of the thread is talking about why money was thrown away on these players. The reality is it doesn't apply to the minimum salary players, it applies to the orgs that gave Academy players $300k to buyout jail them from going to LCS teams. The number quoted was based on California Minimum Salary in the state. These players are competing 8 hours a day in scrims, not to mention solo queue time in the office. Given the time investment, LEGALLY THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO BE PAID LESS!! And the community response is they were paid too much and didn't provide value? Blows my fucking mind. How many triple AAA baseball players or G-League basketball players are providing direct value to you as a fan while they try to make it? The value is there when they do and you know what? The difference of salary between Jojopyun and Humanoid for EG when they went with Jojopyun nearly covered the costs of Academy for the year according to EG. If you want to talk about the exorbitant salaries of some of the pro players in the space and the lack of monetizing those players and personalities, I would say that's more than fair and I've been on the record for that. But going after T2 players when they got shell shocked by the same people that paid those salaries for the T1 players and within 6 months of me moving out to LA to cover NACL btw, I find to be beyond gross. 0 understanding from the community, and 0 empathy or sympathy from the community for the players who were trying to make it and keep the scene alive with their commitment to trying to go pro.

Lmao they attached the professors’ responses which immediately prove she deserved a zero
For a psychology course at the University Oklahoma, Samantha Fulnecky was asked to write a 650-word essay reacting to an article about how people are perceived based on societal expectations of gender. In her essay, Fulnecky argued that traditional gender roles should not be considered stereotypes. She cited the Bible to support her stance that eliminating gender in society would be "detrimental" because that would put people "farther from God's original plan for humans." She received zero points out of 25 on the essay. Transgender professor, Mel Curtis, said Ms. Fulnecky, failed to use empirical evidence/and called parts of her essay offensive. "To call an entire group of people 'demonic' is highly offensive, especially a minoritized population," the instructor wrote in the online grading platform. Fulnecky says she followed the assignment guidelines and should not be penalized for her religious viewpoints. OU officials point to the formal grade-appeal process as the student awaits a decision. We at Turning Point OU stand with Samantha. We should not be letting mentally ill professors around students. Clearly this professor lacks the intellectual maturity to set her own bias aside and take grading seriously. Professors like this are the very reason conservatives can't voice their beliefs in the classroom. Kuddos to Samantha for leading by example and standing up for what she believes in. @UofOklahoma , do better! #universityofoklahoma #trans #woke @ou_president @uofoklahoma @TPUSA @GovStitt @theoudaily @ounightly @SenadorJett @senmullin

🚨 THIS IS TRAGIC US Marine Corps Colonel and combat veteran, Doug Krugman, "resigned from the military because of Trump," after 24 years of service. He wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Post stating, and I quote: "United States military officers take an oath to defend the Constitution without mental reservation or purpose of evasion. I swore or repeated that oath under five presidents, starting with former president Bill Clinton. I risked my life for it, serving as an infantry officer in two wars. I watched Marines die for it." "No commander in chief is perfect. President Clinton’s moral failures are well known. President George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq might be one of the worst errors in U.S. history. All recent presidents share responsibility for our failure in Afghanistan. I continued to serve despite all that because I believed the Constitution brought the country more success than failure, and I believed our presidents took their oaths to it seriously." "With President Trump, I no longer believe that. During his first term, his actions became increasingly difficult for me to justify, culminating with the Jan. 6 attack on Congress as it tried to execute its duties. I hoped he had learned from those errors, but it only took a few days of his second term for me to realize he had not. I could not swear without reservation to follow a commander in chief who seemed so willing to disregard the Constitution." "Worse than immorality, however, has been President Trump’s willingness to disregard the law and Constitution to achieve his goals. When asked in May about the Fifth Amendment requirements for due process and if he needed to uphold the Constitution as president, the first words out of his mouth were "'I don’t know.'" "Instead of trying to work within the Constitution, or to amend it, President Trump is testing how far he can ignore it. If voters and legislators cannot close the gaps in our laws to clarify the limits to presidential power, those who serve our government will continue to struggle. The next president — of either party — may continue us down this path toward collapse." "I voluntarily gave up my rank as the president suggested, but the future of our country is more important than any individual’s career, wealth or power. I have no regrets about my decision. I have given up the service I loved for the freedom to do the right thing, the freedom to speak my mind and the freedom to speak in defense of our country."
