Very excited to bring Akash to robots with Peaq. Physical AI is a frontier where decentralized AI excels.
May 28
.@akashnet and peaq unlock autonomous elastic compute for robots and machines The strategic partnership enables on demand GPU and CPU compute for any robot or machine running peaqOS → peaqOS provides the context and coordination → Akash Network provides decentralized compute on demand The output returns to the robot in seconds robotic.sh/services/akash

Улучшение консоли,упрощение процесса,уменьшение путаницы,разделения крипты от основного потока 🧐
Introducing Console Air: Fully self-custodial and open source Akash Console Why? When we introduced managed wallet capabilities to attract non-crypto users, adoption improved but confusion arose about usage. To streamline the experience and reduce confusion, we proposed AEP-84 to decouple the crypto experience from mainstream. We believe this will significantly improve product quality. Today we deliver on our proposal. Give it a try. akash.network/blog/introduci…

Last time @gregosuri, founder of @akashnet, was on The Rollup, he described 10 AI agents running in his house. Local LLMs, heartbeat monitors, cameras, coffee machine that starts before he wakes up. Rob asked for the update. Greg: "If there's a way to replicate me, I think we can solve world hunger."
What does it actually look like when someone goes all-in on AI agents at home? Greg Osuri, founder of Akash Network, runs 10 agents in his house right now. All local. All private.

Before BME, wallet users absorbed token volatility on every deployment. Post-upgrade, builders mint ACT before deploying, locking in stable, dollar-denominated compute costs from the start. Every wallet deployment on Akash now creates demand for $AKT. Network usage and token supply are directly proportional. @akashalpha_ walks through the full console deployment process for the first time since the upgrade. youtube.com/watch?v=jdzq_xML…

крупнейшее обновление @akashnet стабильна 🔥 подробнее⤵️
In the first 90 days of 2026, Akash shipped the biggest upgrade in $AKT’s economic history, crossed 1.7 billion tokens a day on OpenRouter, opened Homenode beta to GPU owners worldwide, and celebrated @AkashStudents win two separate hackathons in the same weekend. The network shows no sign of slowing down. Here is everything that shipped… ↓ Full Q1 report akash.network/blog/akash-net…

Это одно из самых значительных экономических обновлений в истории @akashnet Связывает дефицит $AKT с реальным спросом в сети 🚀🫰 #Akash #NodesLab #DecLab #BME
Burn-Mint Equilibrium is officially live as the core team completed the Mainnet 17 upgrade just moments ago. Every workload on Akash now directly ties to the utility of $AKT. Here's what's happening on-chain right now: → $AKT price data and oracle are live → The price oracle is healthy and BME is active → All deployment are fully functional

These two are not the same thing. Render is not like AKT at all. Render is powered by a rendering app using a network of consumer grade GPUs. They recently moved towards allowing AI inferencing. Akash is a supercloud capable of hosting a rendering app, also hosting AI models, also hosting websites and VPNs - it’s a full on cloud. Akash home node will be building up a 4090 / 5090 inference network. So it will kind of share a similar product to what Render has - but Akash has so much more capabilities of what you can deploy.

The wait is over. The Burn-Mint Equilibrium (BME) proposal is going onchain for a vote today, with an upgrade scheduled for March 23rd at 14:00 UTC. BME restores direct utility to $AKT, anchoring token value to real network usage, where every $AKT used for deploying will be burnt. This upgrade also introduces WASM smart contracts to Akash - a foundational step that enables the Core Team to iterate and build faster without full chain coordination. Akash Mainnet 16 upgrade is live.✅ Developers now have greater visibility into their deployments and a faster, smoother experience on Akash Console, especially for those running at scale. Better builder experience = stronger network.
Akash Mainnet 16 upgrade will occur at block #25789395 on Wednesday, March 4th, at 14:00 UTC. This upgrade enables: - Lease closed reason, allowing providers to specify why a lease was closed (e.g., Unstable). - CometBFT Tachyon advisory fix CSA-2026-001. - Migration of deployment and market module stores from manual KVStore key encoding to cosmossdk .io/collections.IndexedMap, replacing hand-rolled prefix keys with type-safe, indexed collections. - Secondary indexes (State, Owner, Provider) enabling efficient filtered queries without full-store iteration. Current deployments will NOT be affected. mintscan.io/akash/proposals/…
