ALT Joint statement from Noisy Creek and the Noisy Union: Today, Friday, January 31st, Ashley Nerbovig and Hannah Krieg resigned from their roles at The Stranger. In partnership with Noisy Union, Noisy Creek undertook an internal investigation into alleged actions by both employees. While we did not substantiate the original allegations, Hannah and Ashley made the decision to resign. Both individuals are receiving severance and continued healthcare benefits. Noisy Creek and Noisy Union believe this is a fair outcome. We appreciate the tremendous dedication of Hannah and Ashley to reporting and journalism in our community and we support them in their future endeavors.
