No one owes you players.
The Roblox algorithm doesn’t care about your effort. Your “great idea” means nothing if your game is too difficult for players to pick up quickly.
User acquisition is getting more competitive than ever. The front page rotates faster than ever.
And here’s the hardest part:
If your game blows up and then dies quickly, it’s not “bad luck” or “players prefer Brainrot games.” You just didn’t build a game with good retention and replayability.
But the flip side?
If you truly understand retention loops, monetization strategy, and live ops you can win disproportionately.
Look at some of the top games that released in the past couple of years; Rivals, Dress to Impress, Forsaken, Dandy’s World.
Building a long-lasting IP is still achievable even if people on Twitter try to convince you that all of Roblox is only Brainrot now.
Roblox is still one of the greatest leverage platforms in gaming.
Build accordingly.
