On surface whatever Tzolis, Bouaddi’s contributions are if they join, def feels like solid start to a summer of business in a diff window. Bouaddi can handle himself vs biggest opponents eg BRA & Micheli’s scouting of Kvara, fills me w/ hope on Tzolis. Need another fwd tho. 💪🏻

Ayyoub Bouaddi, similar to Fabinho during Liverpool days.
I watched Bouaddi for the full 90 minutes today, and I think people are comparing him to the wrong player.
A lot of the talk will be about Declan Rice, but honestly, the vibes I got were more Fabinho than Rice. Not the flashy version of a midfielder. Not the one making driving runs through the middle. I'm talking about peak Fabinho under Klopp at Liverpool.
The way Bouaddi reads danger, positions himself to kill transitions before they start, covers huge spaces, and keeps the midfield balanced for others to shine, that's exactly what stood out to me. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
What impressed me most wasn't what he did on the ball, but how much control he gave his team without needing to dominate possession. That's a rare quality for someone so young.
Still early days, but if I'm looking for a comparison, I'm seeing more Fabinho than Declan Rice. And Liverpool fans know just how valuable that version of Fabinho was.

🚨 EXCL: Andrea Berta recently met with Ayyoub Bouaddi's father in NYC as #Arsenal reignite their pursuit of the #Lille midfielder.
#Berta previously held talks with the family last year and Arsenal were prepared to move for the player, but #Bouaddi chose to remain at Lille to continue his development. He subsequently signed a new contract, a decision designed not only to aid his progression but also to protect Lille's position and prevent any cut price move, with his previous deal due to expire in 2027.
PSG remain the strongest contenders, although concerns over playing time could yet prove decisive. Bouaddi's camp are understood to favour a project that offers a prominent starting role and a clear development pathway towards becoming one of the best players in the world in his position, something Arsenal have actively presented during discussions highlighting William #Saliba's progression as a template.
I'm told the Moroccan int'l has already made his choice, with that decision expected to become public after the world cup.
Worth noting there's understood to be a protective clause within the player's contract, as previously revealed, meaning any eventual transfer is unlikely to develop into a bidding war between interested clubs.
Senny #Mayulu, Vasilije #Kostov and Manu #Kone also remain among the midfield profiles Arsenal continue to monitor closely.
The race remains open, but Arsenal are firmly back in the picture.

‼️Confirmed: #Arsenal will announce the permanent signing of Piero #Hincapie after June 30 for accounting purposes. Worth noting the €52m (£45m) purchase clause was not a traditional buy option. It was a conditional obligation to buy, meaning the transfer automatically became permanent once the agreed conditions were met. In other words, Arsenal didn't t have the discretion to decide whether to complete the transfer. The obligation was triggered automatically upon the fulfilment of the conditions set out in the loan agreement.
All relevant paperwork has been exchanged, and a 5-year contract has already been signed. ✍️
