My wardrobe has had a joyfully gender-affirming overhaul during the last two years and never getting to wear it out of the house sucks, so I am posting my “office” outfits every day for January on Instagram to counteract my gloom at WFH.

I'm thrilled to shout out about, A PONY TO OWN, the first book in my Paddock Grove Equestrian School series! Published in summer by @WalkerBooksUK
Living out my childhood dream writing pony books! And a huge thanks to @NonPratt on her brilliant editing and joy we're having creating this series.

TomorrowTOMORROWtoooomorrrrooooowwwwTomorrow!!! Eeeeeee
Something so incredibly exciting is happening tomorrow (not connected to publishing in any way) and I am EXCITED
I felt like I’d forgotten how to read a book. (You don’t read submissions the way you do finished books and the way I read fic is like reading lots of short stories.)
Anyway. I burned through this *so fast*. So grateful to this book for showing me my reading isn’t broken.
I've just devoured Best Friends Forever from @lisa_letters It's fresh, sparky and filled with humour & heart. The wonderfully layered characters are pitched perfectly in a refreshing narrative which normalises friendship & personalities shifting & changing as we grow... 1/2
I'm going on (again!) about the importance of hook, and working with it right from the start. It might not be for everyone but I think it's a brilliant way to craft commercial fiction - and it makes my job SO much easier!
As we gear up for the Frankfurt book fair, the scout meetings are starting, and it's got us thinking about our favourite topic again... today's #DATips is all about HOOK!
Sitting on the sofa with the teen after a walk to the shops to get snacks, sniffing each other and describing how we smell and now companionably watching the West Wing and drawing.
Fuck me, but if parenting isn’t the absolute nuts at times.
