Fortunate to be in baseball for a minute. We’ve had 1,000 college guys,400 drafted,67 MLB, 27 1st Round, 12 All Stars, 2 MVP. Players deserved all the credit.
This was 13 years ago at twin creeks. Most physical middle school team I’ve ever seen. 6 guys over 6’ tall. They destroyed teams. In the end, smallest guy on the team at 5‘3“, Darren Baker, was the only guy to play in the MLB. Moral of story- doesn’t matter what you do at 14.
Watching ESPN with a buddy of mine and Kendrick Perkins just made Jalen Brunson the best Knick of all time and one of the top 75 players EVER! Who is paying this guy to talk?
The @NorCalBaseball ‘30 U fought through a tough game and got it done 4–1. They showed a great deal working through an early morning game to move to the playoffs. Lots of good teams knocked out- it’s a war of attrition.
Kid is an absolute spark plug. Plays fast and hard. Super competitor that puts a ton of pressure on other teams. Expects to win every time he steps on a field. Had a great junior year on the football and baseball field.
I know some disagree, and that’s fine. But I’m a Little League guy.
Let kids play Little League, have fun with their friends, and enjoy being kids.
As they get older, baseball gets more competitive, more stressful, and a little less fun.
There’s plenty of time for travel ball.
Easy swing from the left side for Devin Hernandez (2030, Brentwood, CA). Picks up a single through the middle. NorCal looking to extend 2-1 lead.

Iokepa Pruitt (‘30,HI) posted 5 solid innings of work. Ran the FB to 84 mph and mixed in a tight breaking ball for strikes and struck out 2 on 82 pitches.

Rob, this is why he joined NorCal.
For the guidance, the exposure, the coaching, and to have someone advocate for our sons. We are so grateful to you and Tony and the entire program. This doesn’t happen without all of you!
And yet some of MLB's all-time great position players were not as bulky, did not work with S&C gurus, worse meds, played decades, & in larger parks. Like to see is performance, longevity & injury rate analysis of players cranked from so-called strength model vs 1956-1999 era.
