A huge thank you to beatboxer extraordinaire @KIMMYbeatbox who joined us for day 1 of Winter Arts Festival.
After an amazing assembly introducing us to the basics of beatboxing, every class from Reception to Year 6 got to take part in their own beatboxing workshop with Kimmy 🎤

Yesterday, members of our Jazz group were treated to a masterclass by prominent Blues and Roots musician, David Thomas. Students learnt about how the blues has formed the foundation for many contemporary genres and allowed Mr Thomas the opportunity to perform all over the world!

Three of our wonderful students spent the day at Merton College learning all about what it takes to be a choral or organ scholar at Oxford. The day ended with a stunning evensong, which included the spellbinding Stanford in A.
